NAMLI – Microfinance · Lagos, December 2026

We admit institutions, not delegates

General attendance does not replace institution-level preparation. Admission is based on an executive sponsor, a defined institutional problem, completed pre-work and the authority to make implementation decisions.

What to bring

Your own documentation, in whatever state it exists

You will work from your own institution throughout, not from case material.

  • Your current enterprise-wide risk assessment, or a clear statement of its present status and limitations. Bring it even if you believe it is weak. Particularly then.
  • A summary of your current AML systems and data architecture, including known manual workarounds.
  • Your transaction monitoring scenario list, if one exists.
  • Governance evidence. Accountable executives, oversight forum, reporting route and recent decisions.
  • A summary of the implementation roadmap your institution submitted to the CBN, and its current delivery status.
  • One decision or implementation constraint that has materially slowed progress.

Confidentiality

Findings stay with the institution

Institution findings stay with the institution and authorised NAMLI personnel unless a specific release is approved in writing. Sponsors and partners receive agreed aggregate information only. No sponsor sees another institution’s diagnostic material, under any arrangement.

Public reporting uses aggregate results by default. We obtain written approval before naming an institution or describing its case.
