De-risking Green Growth Economies

Africa is at a pivotal moment where climate resilience and low-carbon growth are no longer optional, but essential for long-term financial stability and economic resilience. For pension funds, insurers, banks, asset managers, global investors, and development partners, the key question is how to mobilize and deploy capital effectively across renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, green transport, water systems, and the blue economy.

The 4th South Africa Sustainable Finance Intensive (SASFI) provides a high-impact platform to unlock this potential—bringing together institutional investors, regulators, and innovators to explore blended finance structures, climate-smart infrastructure, and PPPs that de-risk investment while maximising impact. Through sector-driven networking, curated dealmaking, and practical dialogues on innovative instruments, SASFI 2026 will accelerate the continent’s transition to an inclusive, climate-resilient green economy.
